Innovation and support: the establishment of our IT department

On November 1, 2024, we took an important step towards the future: the establishment of our own IT department. With this strategic step, we want to take both our internal technology and our communication to a new level.

Our new IT team consists of five highly qualified experts who bring an impressive range of expertise to the table. From system administration and software implementation to IT security and support – we are ideally positioned. Marco Hertwich leads the team, supported by Dominik Kaminski, Jasmin Müller, Andre Vonjo and Julian Witibschlager. Together, they will develop innovative IT solutions for the entire AlphaConsult Group from their office in Nuremberg.

Ingo Wiegers, our CDIO, explains the thinking behind this development: “When we decided to set up an in-house IT department, we were aware that we needed a specialized team to provide long-term, high-quality support for the AlphaConsult Group. A group of companies of our size needs internal IT specialists to ensure a smoothly functioning IT landscape on the one hand and to support our internal employees quickly and professionally in their daily work on the other. Internal expertise is also essential for success in upcoming IT and digitalization projects.”

The IT team already has ambitious plans:

1. Introducing a user-friendly ticket system for fast and uncomplicated IT support.

2. Integrating new technologies to standardize IT processes in our more than 180 branches.

3. Simplification of processes and introduction of innovative IT solutions.

These initiatives will significantly develop our company.
