The temporary staffing industry is currently in a phase of upheaval. Despite the current challenges, however, temporary work continues to offer many opportunities for companies and employees.
Udo Lutz, CEO of the AlphaConsult Group, emphasizes the importance of adaptability in these times: “In the ever-changing world of work, it is crucial to remain flexible and adapt to market conditions.”
In recent months, temporary work has seen a decline in the number of employees. From February 2022 to February 2023, the number of employees subject to social security contributions fell from 719,000 to around 625,000. In difficult economic times, companies first reduce the use of temporary staff before making cuts to permanent staff. In addition, the generally good labor market situation makes temporary work less attractive for many jobseekers.
Despite these challenges, temporary work remains an important tool for companies and employees. It enables companies to react flexibly to fluctuations in orders and deploy qualified personnel at short notice. For many jobseekers, temporary work offers an opportunity to enter the job market.
Fortunately, the AlphaConsult Group is clearly bucking the trend described above thanks to its brand specification and its innovative international recruiting concept.
Udo Lutz emphasizes the importance of further training: “At the AlphaConsult Group, we invest in the further training of our employees. This not only strengthens long-term employability, but also secures highly qualified specialists for our customers.”
The AlphaConsult Group has successfully gained market share despite the difficult market conditions. We are proud of the fact that we have not only maintained our position, but are also continuing on the road to success.
“Our success is based on specialization and the bundling of expertise,” explains Udo Lutz. “With over 15 strong brands under one roof, we can react flexibly to the most diverse requirements of our customers and offer tailor-made solutions.”
Despite the current challenges, the industry is optimistic about the future. A survey by the market research company Lünendonk shows that almost two thirds of the temporary employment agencies surveyed are very or somewhat optimistic.
Udo Lutz looks to the future: “As a family business with over 40 years of history, we know that responsibility and sustainability are the key to long-term success. We will continue to work in an innovative and customer-oriented manner in order to expand our position as one of the leading HR service providers in Germany and Europe. Recruitment is becoming increasingly important in this context. With our brands “Alpha-Experts” and “Alpha-Students”, we are well positioned for the future in this area.”
