Alpha-Aviation as service agents at Düsseldorf Airport

When there are particularly large numbers of travelers at Düsseldorf Airport during the fall holidays, good organization is essential. To ensure that all passengers have a relaxed start to their vacation, Alpha Aviation, under the responsibility of Jenna Notdurft, Head of Aviation, is working closely with Katrin Thiele, Area Manager West. Together, they are ensuring that our teams on site are well coordinated and visibly committed.

From October 8 to 26, our service agents will accompany passengers directly in front of the boarding pass control and ensure that the route to the security checkpoint is as pleasant and clear as possible. Two of our employees will be on duty at each of the three gates – friendly, approachable, attentive, and always ready to help with questions about directions and the route ahead.

Düsseldorf Airport has launched this additional escort service at short notice to optimize passenger flow during the holiday season. Our colleagues will be responsible for communication on site: They personally inform passengers, provide information on procedures, and thus ensure a calm, structured process.

Our tasks as service agents before boarding pass control

Two of our colleagues are on duty at each of the three gates to provide targeted support to travelers and ensure a relaxed check-in process.
Their most important tasks include:

  • Accompanying guests to boarding pass control and helping to ensure a steady flow of passengers.
  • They also provide guidance on the special services offered by the airport and airlines, including DUS Gateway, Priority Status, Business/First Class, Group 1, and WingsExpress.
  • Providing direct assistance with travelers’ questions or special requests.

With this coordinated approach, our teams help to ensure that processes remain structured, safe, and pleasant even at peak times.

This is a great example of how flexibility, teamwork, and a spirit of service at Alpha Aviation make travel a little more relaxed.
